What was initially envisioned as a beautiful beachside rehearsal dinner unexpectedly turned into a creative challenge, as we had to think quickly on our feet. The weather in Maine is notoriously unpredictable, forcing us to adapt our plans to ensure that the event remained memorable and enjoyable for everyone involved.

We ended up hosting the rehearsal dinner inside the charming Abenakee Club House, which worked out wonderfully as it felt warm, inviting, and intimate. The cozy atmosphere really contributed to the overall experience, allowing everyone to connect and enjoy the special occasion together.

When it comes to hosting your beautiful rehearsal dinner for a destination wedding, you don't always have to invite every single person who will be attending the main celebration. Instead, consider keeping it intimate and small, just like Jess and Rex chose to do for their special evening, allowing for a more personal atmosphere and meaningful connections among those present.

Thankfully, the weather for the wedding turned out to be absolute perfection. Though it was a little warm during the day, the temperature gracefully cooled down during the enchanting evening, making it a delightful experience for everyone involved.
