THE MAKING OF A WEDDING AT THE BORDONE

If there was ever a wedding to take me back to, it would undoubtedly be Kelly and Nick’s extraordinary wedding at THE BORDONE in Long Island City. This wedding truly was a spectacular production, brimming with beautiful details and heartfelt moments. Even though I had the pleasure of planning and designing every aspect of their special day, I wasn't on-site for the event installation itself. Instead, I was dedicated to being with the couple, helping them get ready at a nearby hotel and ensuring they felt calm and excited as we prepared for the beautiful ceremony in Long Island, New York.

I had the absolute best possible team diligently taking care of the intricate production back at the venue, but I made it a point to check in with my wonderful team every now and then to ensure that everything was running smoothly and according to plan. When I finally walked into the stunning venue and saw all of my hard work come to life in such a beautiful way, I couldn't contain my emotions and burst into tears of joy and relief.

Here’s one important thing I learned during my journey as a Wedding Planner. One must truly let go of control because the overall success of the event does not solely rest on the shoulders of just one person; it is, in fact, a collective group effort. Collaborating with trusted vendors who share your vision and values is extremely essential to ensuring that everything flows smoothly and beautifully.
