THE MAKING OF A BROOKLYN BOTANICAL GARDENS WEDDING
Working at the beautiful and serene Brooklyn Botanical Gardens has always been a long-held dream and goal of mine, and when I finally got the incredible chance to plan and design a wedding there, of course I jumped at it with enthusiasm and excitement.
This day was truly special for me because I had the incredible opportunity to work closely with an exceptional client who wholeheartedly trusted me to do what I do best: plan, design, and execute every detail of their event. We arrived bright and early at the breathtaking 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge to ensure my bride and her lovely bridesmaids were all taken care of and feeling calm. After making sure they had everything they needed, we headed over to the groom’s location to confirm that he and his groomsmen had everything prepared for the big day. Once all that was in great shape, we made our way to the stunning venue to begin the exciting setup process.
Once, we got to the venue, the entire set up process started. With only hours to go, we got to work, being mindful that our couple was to not see each other before the ceremony. Luckily, we were able to effectively keep them apart throughout the entire event. I will admit it was a bit nervous at times, but in the end, the couple was incredibly happy with how everything turned out.

I look back at that incredible day now, and the way everything came together was truly so beautiful. Every single vendor involved performed exceptionally well, rising to the occasion under all the pressure that the day represented, and it made the entire experience even more memorable.
